This Privacy Policy describes how WAGMI TECH, SOCIEDAD DE RESPONSABILIDAD LIMITADA ("WAGMI TECH", "we") collects, uses, shares and protects the information of people who interact with our services, including WhatsApp conversations handled by our artificial intelligence agent "Eugenia" on behalf of our business clients.
1. Information we collect
When you send a message to a WhatsApp number served by our service, we may collect:
- Contact information: your WhatsApp phone number and the profile name you publicly display on WhatsApp.
- Conversation content: the text messages, images, audio, documents or other files you send, and the responses you receive.
- Data you provide: information you voluntarily share during the conversation (for example, your name, city, product of interest or details of your request).
- Technical metadata: message identifiers, timestamps and delivery statuses provided by the WhatsApp platform.
On our website we do not use advertising tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will reflect it in this Policy.
2. How we use the information
- Handle and respond to your inquiries through WhatsApp.
- Provide you with requested information, pricing or materials.
- Transfer your conversation to a human advisor at the company when necessary.
- Record and follow up on your request as a potential customer (lead) for the company.
- Operate, maintain, secure and improve the quality of our service.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of your consent when starting and continuing the conversation, the legitimate interest of the company in serving its customers, and the performance of the commercial relationship you request.
4. How we share the information
- With the client company whose WhatsApp account you contacted (the one handling your request).
- With infrastructure providers that enable us to operate the service, under confidentiality obligations, including: Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp Business Platform), and AI model and hosting providers that process messages to generate responses.
- When required by law or to protect rights, safety or integrity.
Use of the WhatsApp platform is further governed by the WhatsApp Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy.
5. Data retention
We keep conversations and associated data for as long as necessary to provide the service to the client company and to comply with legal obligations. When no longer necessary, we delete or anonymize them. The client company may request deletion of the data that corresponds to it.
6. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of credentials and sensitive data at rest, access control and data isolation between each client company. No system is completely foolproof, but we work to protect it from unauthorized access.
7. Your rights
You may request to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its processing. To exercise these rights, write to us at contacto@wagmi-tech.com. You can also stop receiving messages at any time by writing "STOP" or blocking the number on WhatsApp.
8. Minors
Our service is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us to delete it.
9. International transfers
Some of our providers (for example, Meta and AI/hosting providers) may process data outside Honduras. In those cases we seek to ensure adequate protection safeguards exist.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date.
